Alte Post in Nuremberg

Great restaurant, great ideas, especially in times of Corona. You can take dinner for two with you and prepare it at home. Also ready-made soups and salad dressings, packed in environmentally friendly reusable glasses. The staff is super friendly. The price-performance ratio fits here absolutely.

When the weather is nice, you like to go on a bike tour in November, even or especially during Covid times. In the Knoblauchsland there are some pretty places to visit like the Irrhain and the fortified church in Kraftshof. When hunger comes, then the shock: will there be anything to take away? Other cyclists gave us a great tip: the Alte Post will prepare a schnitzel box with french fries for us in no time! It is a delicious Wiener Schnitzel, of course regional, that is already cut into handy pieces. All in a compostable box.

Very good food and great wines in a very pleasant atmosphere. Ideally, of course, in the inner courtyard in summer - that holiday feeling !!!

It was our first time at the Alte Post today - but not the last time! Very friendly welcome and the service was totally on the ball! The food - from the starter to the salad to the main course was excellent! In a very cozy atmosphere it was a very successful menu - gladly again ? The only criticism: the crust on my Schaufla la was not crispy - looked as if it had just been forgotten - see my picture.

Nice, very old original restaurant. Very polite, friendly staff. Excellent Franconian style carps, potato salad with pickled celery, no ice cream dessert. Here is an order. Well, bright draft beer went well under the carp. Everything is very stylish, in Franconian style, statues ... Nice interior. Toilets shine, on the washstands there is a stack of small terry towels, at the bottom there is a box for used ones. In general, we really liked it. I think we'll be there again

Lovely village, good food and friendly service

Were now eating again in the Old Post Office. As always a nice selection of German cuisine. The food was delicious and adequate from the serving. For me there was veal liver "Berlin style" fried to the point. The food is not cheap, but worth every euro. Especially on weekends, it is to reserve sensible noon today had guests without reservation no chance. Also events are possible here, we were after our civil wedding with a small company eat here and were allowed to enjoy a great menu.
